TESTIMONIALS
Until March of 2008 my father was the full-time caregiver for my mother who
is 91 years old. In March we learned that my father needed open heart
surgery which meant he would not be able to take care of Mom for an
extended period of time. Our family began considering options for Mom
including 24/7 home care or a senior’s facility. Serene Sunset was
recommended to us by an acquaintance in the health care industry who was
familiar with Mom’s situation and needs. After visiting Serene Sunset’s
website, making a personal visit to the facility, and having an in-depth
discussion with Andrzej, the owner, about Mom’s health and special needs,
we decided it was the best place for Mom. Our family moved Mom to Serene
Sunset on April 11, 2008. We have never regretted that decision for one
minute. Mom has her own room, as do the other four women who live there.
There is a window over Mom’s bed which allows light and fresh air into her
room. Her room is large, bright, and cheery. The house is always neat and
clean. There is a deck off of the dining room where Mom can sit and enjoy
the view. The food always smells delicious. There is fresh fruit every
morning with breakfast and the bread is made from scratch. The owners, are
wonderful, caring people. They take excellent care of Mom. We feel very
fortunate to have her living in such a terrific place.
